ckeditor software package provides text editor which can be embedded into web pages, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ckeditor 

ckeditor is installed in your system.

Make ensure the ckeditor package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ckeditor *

You will get with ckeditor package name, version, architecture and description in a table
